Sibling Loss Grief
Course Goals & Objectives
This 1 module training for mental health clinicians will explore the disenfranchised grief of sibling loss, both for children/teens as well as for adults.
Courses are self-paced and include a variety of resources such as: podcasts, YouTube videos, books, and websites.
Understanding
Clinicians will identify at least 3 characteristics that affect sibling loss grief.
Explain
Clinicians will identify at least 3 developmental life phases affecting sibling loss grief.
Resources
Clinicians will identify 3 resources (websites, organizations, books, articles) regarding Sibling Loss that can be used to help clients reduce their isolation and increase their sense of self efficacy.
CE Credit
Course completion certificates will be awarded at the end of the course after all test surveys and evaluations for the participant are received by CE provider.
Continuing education
Counselors: Private Practice Grief has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7071. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Private Practice Grief is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
